I don't see _root folder.. there are two public folders - public_html and public_htp  -  I downloaded both files from the generator - html and xml - so I have two questions

1) which file should I upload to my domain and in which folder?
2) I want to have a 301 redirection on my domain for www to go to non-www.. would that affect the site map that I generated?  or should I first have the re-direction and then generate the sitemap again?

Hello,

1. you should upload sitemaps to public_html/ folder.
2. if you have that redirect in place (so your main domain is non-www), make sure that you provided non-www domain as Starting URL when created sitemap.

I don't have the redirect in place yet and don't know how to do that Smiley  BUT the site map was created with non-www url ... so that should be okay i guess?

Upload sitemap.xml and sitemap.html to the public_html folder.
