Simple Site

Hello.
I have a pretty simple site with about 25 pages ([external links are visible to admins only]) and when I use a Joomla plugin it creates the sitemap on the fly in seconds. I downloaded and installed the XML sitemap generator and it is giving be some super long times and thousands of pages. Why is this?
Links depth: 5
Current page: architecural-rendering-budgets&tmpl=component&print=1&page=/our_process/deliverables.html/component/content/article/100.html
Pages added to sitemap: 14158
Pages scanned: 14160 (471,813.1 Kb)
Pages left:
10263 (+ 10532 queued for the next depth level)
Time passed: 221:11
Time left: 160:19

I thought a little after I posted and I excluded all my Joomla system folders and basically just left the root of my site, which is my index.php and index2.php. Everything is dynamically generated off of those. Would this be correct?

7hrs later on a small site and it is still running with 19177 queued... I am not sure this is working. Any tips? I am getting links like this:
resources.html/component/content/article/101.html/component/content/article/99.html/component/content/article/99.html/component/content/article/98.html

Hello,
looks like you have recursive links on your site that end up with endless loop. Please try to add this in "Do not parse" option:
Code:
content/article/

Thanks for the reply. I will try it your suggestion.
It is nice to see a paid subscription service actually answer users needs. I have been struggling with other services that I have purchased subscriptions from and I go days and weeks without getting a reply. Keep up the good work!
