Hi,

I'm new to this sitemap. Kindly let me know what is the max. link depth that should be given for any website. Ours is a huge website constantly being updated. We have setup a dedicated server for generating the sitemap of our website by assigning 1 GB memory_limit in the php.ini. The script is being run in the cron job for the last 8 days but still the sitemap is not yet complete. You can see the info pasted below and suggest me if i'm doing anything wrong

Already in progress. Current process state is displayed:
Links depth: 90
Current page: blogs/blogseschk.php?sctv=%2Fblogs%2Fviewblog.php%3Fblogid%3D444%26mode%3Dpost%26nm%3Dne%26mon%3D-73%26postid%3D1792
Pages added to sitemap: 259014
Pages scanned: 390120 (5,963,363.3 Kb)
Pages left: 452 (+ 792 queued for the next depth level)
Time passed: 11316:30
Time left: 13:06
Memory usage: 424,568.5 Kb

The current settings has nothing in the place of "Maximum depth level".

Thanking you.

With regards,
Narendra.

Hi,

Pages added to sitemap: 438545
Pages scanned: 590960 (9,268,825.4 Kb)
Pages left: 655 (+ 222 queued for the next depth level)
Time passed: 17326:40
Time left: 19:12
Memory usage: 699,839.4 Kb

With regards,
Narendra.

Hello,

in most cases there is no sense in having max depth level set to more than 100 or so.
