What is the biggest site that this sitemap can handle ?

Hi,

I have a HTML site with more than 10,000 pages , actually Results 1 - 10 of about 14,200 if check with site:www.xxx.com on google .

can your script handle this ? I really hope it can .

Standalone Sitemap Generator has no limitation for the maximum number of URLs.

btw, what is your opinion on how many pages we should have on google sitemap ? I heard someone said 500 maximum is good but if you have more than 500 google will not like it ..

Hello,

Google allows up to 50 *million* URLs in xml sitemap. In case if more than 50,000 URLs are found, sitemap generator will split them onto multiple files.
