is sitemap.html in the correct place?

[external links are visible to admins only] is where I have always kept my html sitemap. Now it is /var/www/vhosts/panamabeachrealty.com/httpdocs/generator/data/sitemap.html. When I try to change it I get the following error.
Sitemap file is not writable: /var/www/vhosts/panamabeachrealty.com/sitemap.html
The generator appears to be writing [external links are visible to admins only] correctly.
What am I doing wrong?
Access to the generator has username: panama password: arnold and then the sitemap generator has the same username and password I use to log into this forum.

Hello,
you should set permissions for /sitemap.html file to 0666.
