Upgrading Sitemap Generator 2.8

Hi,
Previously i am using older sitemap generator and now i have deleted all the files of older sitemap generator and installed  sitemap generator 2.8 . I have done all the configuarations properly. But the problem is that when i am running crawling process its  showing nothing.

Its showing like this.....

and stopping script their only.

What may be the problem.

Hello,

did you make any changes in configuration for older version or you left all settings as default?
It's recommended to keep existing config.inc.php file when upgrading to avoid configuration issues: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/forum/index.php/topic,118.0.html

I have downloaded new sitemap2.8 version generator  and uploaded  files as below in existing generator folder

       index.php /generator/
       pages/*   to /generator/pages/*

But it is not crawling at all . It is showing crawling page as below

everything is blank.

What may be the problem. If i upload older version it is working fine.

Please try installing new version in a separate folder (like generator28/ instead of generator/) and check if that works.
