Still trying to figure out how generator works, some questions.

I've installed and set up sitemap generator per instruction, been having a memory issue  with manual run which can't be fixed becaused I am on a shared hosting account with around 30k links.

My solution was to have runcrawl.php run every 30 minutes to generate the first sitemap.xml.gz thru cron, if my understanding is correct, the script should resume itself from the last save even if it was ran by a cron?

I ran the cron for 8 hours, been receiving emails from the cron job with the following;

<html><head><title>XML Sitemaps - Generation</title><meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-15" /><link rel=stylesheet type="text/css" href="pages/style.css"></head><body>

My cron seems to run fine, but nothing has yet appeared on my sitemap.xml.gz, still an empty file.

I went back and checked the crawl manualy thru the web interface, clicked on crawling tab, it still shows an old manual run with exact number of pages added as 8 hours ago.

I am confused here as to whether my cron is doing its job, anything I can check to see if it's generating something?
