Why is Xml-Sitemap better then google's sitemap generator?
Does it have any advantages over it now?
I like it but wonder if google work better with their own version.
What do others think?

Hello,
yes, the standalone sitemap generator from xml-sitemaps.com is preferred in many cases. It's written in PHP and is easier to install/configure, it crawls your site similar to normal visitor thus finding all your pages and it has many complementary useful features:
