v2.8 File Issue

I have empty sitemap.xml and ror.xml files in the root folder. When I run the script, it completes successfully. However, the two xml files are updated in the generator folder but NOT the root folder. I have tried setting their permissions to both 666 and 777 but they were never updated.

The documentation clearly states that the script will put the xml files in the root folder, not the generator folder. And I'm not getting any sort of error message.

Any help?

Well, more monkeying around with it and it started working. Not sure why the previous attempts with the current settings failed, but it is working now.
