Submitting large sitemap to google yahoo...

My sites (rss readers)  have been indexed for a year but only certain pages.  Now I run sitemap generator and have a site with 42,000 urls that I have submitted to the above.  It had 160 pages indexed.

Am in a sitemap generator run right now that is showing upwards of 300,000 urls.

I have a larger site that should pull 6,000,000 urls.

Can I be penalized by the engines for submitting such large sitemaps?  Ask, AOL...

Google allows maximum of 50 million URLs in sitemap (upto 1,000 sitemap files with 50,000 URLs each): https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/docs/en/protocol.html
