Hello,

The way I understand it, the sitemap.xml needs to be in my root directory, so I moved it from /generator/data to the same level that my index file is at.

However, my question pertains to the text and html sitemaps that are generated by the standalone Ultimate Sitemap Generator.  SHould I leave them in /generator/data or should I move them to my root also?

Thanks

Hello,

there is no such a requirement for text and html sitemaps, so you can keep them in the data/ folder.

It's sufficient to have a link to html sitemap from some of your pages only.
