Hello,
yuo should connect to your site via FTP and this folder is usually visible at the top level for your ftp user. This folder might also be called "httpdocs" or similar.

Ok, I am computer stupid, where do I find "public_html/" folder on my site? You can also use Total Comander for FTP connection and define remote dir as public_html in connection details.

I have a couple of different servers - one running IIS with PHP and one running Apache without PHP. Can I install the PHP XML Sitemap generator on my IIS server and use it to crawl and generate a sitemap for a site that is hosted on my Apache server?

Change chmod to 777. it's permission to write. You can do it in total commander.

We have bought the software. We have even read the steps u gave me. But for some f***ing purpose, we are getting irritated by the annoying and lenghty steps. We have even contacted our hosting providers and they have done their job for the past 2 days. You have not even given your contact information on your website. Are u making a fool out of us?? If u can't help us on this, then refund us back our money or else contact us very urgently at +91 ****** and also mail us at ***@*****.com.
Upset, Webmaster
