Error after sitemap generation

I am using:

Standalone Sitemap Generator (PHP) v1.2.2, 2005-11-28

I am getting to following error:

I have set all my sitemap files to perm 666

My sitemap generator did work before.... Since I have made my site much larger I am now getting this error.  I also deleted and recreated my sitemap.xml file and this may have something to do with it but I have double checked the perms and file locations!

Hello,

you can try to empty your data/ folder and run the Sitemap Generator (without manually creating the files)
Please send me the URL of your generator instance in Private Message if above doesn't help
