Google says sitemap is in an unsupported format

To whom it may concern,

I used your free online service for creating a Google Services.  First off, thanks!!

However, when Google crawled my site I received the following error:

Unsupported file format    Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit. More


My site is:  [external links are visible to admins only]

I took the sitemap.xml file and copied it to the root folder of the site.  Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Charley,

your sitemap looks ok, make sure that sietmap URL that you submit to google is exactly this:

http://www.sunmoonandstarsband.com/sitemap.xml

(try re-submitting it)
