Do you have a link that tells what is actually happening?

Just curious if it only finds links based on links or if I have a page that nothings links to it will it be added to the sitemap?

sitemap generator crawls your site similar to search engine robots, so it will only find the pages that are linked from other locations (so it is possible to reach them from the starting URL).
