Location in a subdomain
«

Hi,
I have two websites I am currently looking after for a customer. One is a subdomain of the other.
I've just done sitemaps for both sites, but this site recommends the sitemaps belong in the public_html folder. For the the main domain, this is fine, but what should I do for the subdomain - it doesn't have a public_html folder. Should the map just go in the root of the subdomain, ie [external links are visible to admins only] ?
Many Thanks

Hello,
yes, you should upload sitemap to the root folder of your subdomain.
