Mobile sitemap contains only 50.000 items and only 1 sitemap file

I just checked and noticed a bug. The mobile sitemap contains only 50.000 items and there is only 1 sitemap file present.

I have around 325 000 urls to include there. How can I do that?

mobile sitemap is only used if you have a special version of the site designed for mobile devices (and is limited to one file), otherwise regular sitemap.xml is used in both cases.

We might consider that for the next generator release, we do not provide custom updates though.

I need this urgently, as my sitemap_mobile.xml.gz file holds a very big 3.1Gigabyte of file inside and the Webmaster tools don't crawl it.
