How to use in protected area?
«

I'd like to use SMG to generate a sitemap and check links in my whole site, both for users as well as internal purposes. But my site has a protected area as well as a public one, and there doesn't appear to be a way to enter a username/password so SMG can walk/map the protected area. I tried the starting domain to be [external links are visible to admins only], but that didn't work -- couldn't even start.
Any ideas on how to get this going or if it's possible in this version?
TIA,
BaliDave

Hello,
sitemap generator doesn't support crawling of password protected pages, since they cannot be accessed/indexed by search engines anyway (and so there is no reason to include them in sitemap).
