Setting permissions via rdc instead of ftp
« on: November 14, 2007, 09:16:28 PM »
When i try to change the permissions, etc.  as per the instructions, I don't see anything like what is covered in the PDF. There is no area to enter the 666 or 777 numbers, etc.

I consider this to be a a significant lapse on the part of the person who produced the documentation, as it does note that if IIS is running the permissions cannot be set via the ftp.

I have copied the generator folder to the root folder on my server and created the xml files, but I cannot proceed from there.

Please respond.

Hello,

in case of IIS server you should setup file permissions (allow write access) using hosting control panel or via Remote desktop connection to your server.
