Help with Configeration Please

I do not understand This  Instruction >>

Make sure to set the following files permissions:
config.inc.php - 0666 (rw-rw-rw-)
data/ folder - 0777 (rwxrwxrwx)
/path/to/your/sitemap.xml - 0666 (rw-rw-rw-)

Where do I edit these settings  from?
My File manager ? / FTP ? / One of the page files that has been placed in /generator folder such as /config.inc.php  ?


I have opened the file >> config.inc.php  in my file manager and I dont see where to set the following files permissions !

Hello,

you can set files permissions via FTP or SSH access (for unix/linux servers).

Sorry I dont Understand..

I am using FTP - Ipswitch .. is this somthing I access from the ftp program or am I making changes to a document via my ftp ?

If i pay to have yous do it... how long before its done ??

Please  can you simplfiy the instructions  so I can understand them..

How do I set the following files permissions:
What page do I open to change these settings ?
config.inc.php - 0666 (rw-rw-rw-)

do I select something within the ftp program ? or a page within my URL  such as ...> config.inc.php

Hello Danny,

this  is usually done in ftp->file properties dialog.

Please let me know your FTP login details in Private Message so that I can check that for you.
