Does it work correctly when executed manually when you are not logged in? It looks like you have protected runcrawl.php script with password, so it cannot be executed from the cron without authentication.

Yes the task has the authentification login and passwd, and again:  the cron task is launched because I have the mail every day by host admin saying the task is lauched , but never finised with the file result. the problem is, again , in runcrawl.php.

You get an email that the task has been launched (i.e. the URL was called), but sitemap generator itself is not starting in this case since you've password protected it. You should disable the password prompt.

 ???

First of all , the cron task manager has the possibility to present login and password; I just made the test after having suppress the protection : non change, same messages and still no sitemap.xml file upgraded.
/runcrawl.php  still not running.
 ???
