SILO Structure Site Problems
« on: July 24, 2008, 05:29:26 AM »
I want to index ALL OF THE PAGES at my site, not just those in the root "public_html" directory.

I am surprised that upon attempting to build a sitemap it only returned four results.. those in my root directory. I have many sub-domains in a SILO structure and need a sitemap maker to crawl it.

I saw this:
"Please enter the full http address for your site, only the links within the starting directory will be included."

How do i get the tool to index the whole site?

Hello,

sitemaps protocol doesn't allow including the pages from different (sub)domains in the same sitemap, so Google will not accept it if sitemap generator would include them. You should create separate sitemaps for every subdomain in your site.
