Running from command line - continuing interupted sessions?
« on: March 25, 2006, 09:42:36 AM »
I set my script to run via the command line (well actually, I run it via a cron job), and when I came on to check it this morning (it started last night), the script had stopped, with no map generated (for what reason I do not know).

Now, I was able to restart the crawl from the web interface as I am backing up as it goes along (save script state).   However, is it possible to continue from a saved script state via SSH or cron, as obviously I can't check any boxes when running the script that way?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

the latest version of Sitemap Generator should resue the session for cron job execution, but I sent you a PM just in case :)

Make sure that you enabled the "Save state" option in configuration screen! (set it to 120-300 seconds, for instance)
