Sitemap no longer updates since server changes
« on: May 13, 2009, 03:35:11 PM »
Hi,

Things were running fine on my domain but PHP was recently updated on the server and now when I run the generator it says that zero pages were indexed.

This is a real pain because the site in question has had a major change so I really need to create a new sitemap as there are hundreds of URLs that no longer exist.

I have checked all the file and directory permissions and they are correct, and I don't get any error messages when I log in or run the crawl, so nothing is giving any clues as to what is wrong.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, that's useful, but I'm not sure about the results.  It says:

Internal Links Found
none found
X Restricted with robots.txt
none found
X  Restricted with rel="nofollow" attribute

My robots.txt file just says:

User-agent: *

And there are plenty of internal links, so why does it say there are none?

I have found the cause of the problem.

I had added a meta tag containing 'no index, no follow'

:P

Tag removed and now it creates the map.
