Allowed memory size
« on: May 31, 2009, 03:39:34 AM »
I just purchased this script and, in the first run, I got, after a wile:

Links depth: 4
Current page: blue-sky-on-cd_7354-10.html
Pages added to sitemap: 11347
Pages scanned: 12740 (91,618.8 KB)
Pages left: 10966 (+ 12525 queued for the next depth level)
Time passed: 1:20:23
Time left: 1:09:11
Memory usage: 28,926.4 Kb

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7456923 bytes) in /home/ssaguiar/public_html/sitemapgen/pages/class.utils.inc.php(2) : eval()'d code on line 27

The total memory allocated for php at my isp is 64 MBytes.
This is the only script I can't run.

Any ideas on what can be done to make it work?
Please, don't ask to increase memory at isp's server because they won't (they are bad, bad guys.. :-[).

Please try to increase the memory limit setting in sitemap generator configuration (there is a special option for that).

No, it doesn't work.
Increased to 128 MBytes and to 256 MBytes and not working.

Now, As I can't have a solution for this stuff, I am trying to make the script use temporary files.
If this don't work, I just hope I haven't trashed my money in a useless script... again... and the developper will show to us all some solution (I never understand why in hell everybody wants to use php memory in recursive scripts, witout ofering some other possibilities - even if it takes more time, to those who can't make it work because of isp's restrictions).

Didn't work... again.
After sometime, it locks.
Sent a PM about this and no answer.

This is where it stoped last time:

Links depth: 4
Current page: url-spider-jeanie-pro_11559-3.html
Pages added to sitemap: 12816
Pages scanned: 12820 (101,328.3 KB)
Pages left: 6316 (+ 6951 queued for the next depth level)
Time passed: 1:08:28
Time left: 0:33:44
Memory usage: 13,773.5 Kb

After 1:30 hours, it was at the same point.

Can I have the money back????
Please?????

Hello,

in case if it stops, you can run it again resuming the process and it will finish.
