HTTPS links are malformed in the generated sitemap
« on: October 19, 2012, 05:32:13 PM »
Hi

I'm using the latest version of the unlimited sitemap generator on our sites.  They are ecommerce sites and some pages on them redirect to HTTPS rather than HTTP.  When this happens, the sitemap is created incorrectly, and appends the HTTPS url to the HTTP base, rather than replacing it.  This obviously makes the sitemap somewhat useless :(

I've attached an example.

Is there a configuration change we can make to prevent this or is it a bug that needs fixing?

thanks
Pete

OK thanks, that at least solves the immediate issue - but really I want the HTTPS pages to be included - surely it's a bug that it malforms the URLs like this?

Hello,

you would need to create a separate sitemap for that - links with different protocols (https and http) cannot be included in the same sitemap.
