Skipped pages - why and how to include?
« on: May 01, 2014, 11:42:30 AM »
Hi,

Looking at the log for our last crawl, seems a number of pages were "skipped" - c81.

cookies/enable - lu
apply/ - lu
customer-testimonials - lu
cookies/enable/ - lu
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] - 301 Moved Permanently
customer-testimonials/page/2 - lu
customer-testimonials/page/3 - lu

(NB - the remainder of the 81 skipped pages are made up of all of our "testimonial" pages being skipped).

So,

1. What does "- lu" mean? I assume this is some sort of status / skip reason code?
2. Why have these page been skipped?
3. How do we include them?

Thanks

Hello,

"lu" marker means that page is either redirected or has a canonical meta tag pointing to a different URL, that's why they are not included.
