PHP stop working
« on: May 09, 2020, 03:56:07 PM »
Hello, I have been using the sitemap creator for several years and quite satisfied with the result. A few days ago I updated the websites including 5 new languages, so the number of pages and consequently the time required to complete the sitemap has increased dramatically, reaching several hours and causing PHP to stop working on the server, with the problem that the web is inaccessible and I have to contact the hosting to restart php several times in the last week.

I would like if you could recommend a suitable configuration so that this does not happen.

Thank you

a greeting

Hello,

it's possible that the server couldn't handle the number of requests generator crawler is sending. You can try to use "Make delay" setting to slow down crawling and avoid overloading server.

Today it crawled for around 4H and in the last 10 minutes, it freece PHP.
I have Make a delay between requests, X seconds after each N requests: 10 seconds after 30 request.
What setup you can recomend?

I setup for sitemap xml + mobile_sitemap_xml + img_sitemap_xml
If I remove mobil_sitemap it will be better?

I would try 1 second after each 1 request.
