Memory Exhausted and Sitemap not writeable issues
« on: January 07, 2011, 05:50:19 AM »
Hi there. I have read all the posts on this issue and still having no luck fixing these 2 problems. I left the generator "crawling" overnight and the next day it had an error message saying the mobilesitemap file was not writeable. I couldn't find that file to check permissions. I restarted the crawling and then kept getting memory errors throughout the day as it tried to build the sitemap. My server has 128m of memory allocated which I thought would be plenty. Is there something I am missing here? Any help much appreciated.

Hello,

try to increase the memory_limit in PHP configuration to 256M, depending on the number of pages 128 might not be sufficient.

Hello,

how many pages approximately you have on your site?
please let me know your generator URL/login in private message to check this.
