Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi Igor,

First of all, Happy New Year and again thanks for this great XML-Sitemaps.com.

Since December 2014 when Bing is main search engine of Firefox for the next 5 years, so Bing becomes important.

Because my rankings in Yahoo and Bing , for same keywords , are much lower than Google, I was looking if other than google, sitemap pings Bing also.

In /data/generator.conf I found these options : <option name="xs_gping">1</option> and <option name="xs_yping">1</option>. [ I think are for Google and Yahoo ]

Since Yahoo is externalized to Bing, maybe I am wrong but I have not seen a <option name="xs_bping">1</option>.

The updated ping URL's are

yping option is not used anymore.
All search engines are updated at the same time.
