config.inc.php Error

The instructions say, when installing, to change the file permission on config.inc.php to 0666. Then it says, when the setup is complete, to change it back to 644.

I changed it back to 644, but get this error every time I log in

Config file is not writable: /usr/www/users/ebeard/QP/sitemap/config.inc.php

Is this normal?

Hello,

yes, since you will not modify your configuration you can ignore that. Change it to 0666 only if you want to change your settins.
