I have installed the entire file and had my server set the permissions on:

config.inc.php - 0666 (rw-rw-rw-)
data/ folder - 0777 (rwxrwxrwx)
/path/to/your/sitemap.xml - 0666 (rw-rw-rw-) see below (3.14)

1st,  where is the sitemap.xml supposed to be? I don't see it.
2nd, Where do I start setting the configuration settings ? Through Dreamweaver or by opening up the webpage through internet explorer? I tried both ways and showed access denied.

Thanks,
Bill

Ok, I am in and have crawling happening Yeah!. But it is not going deep enough. Example:
It finds: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
however within that page, there are more links like to:
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] then there are links to
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] on that page.

How do I get it to crawl deeper?

XML-Sitemaps Support

Hello,

according to google sitemap protocol, it is not allowed to include links to external domains in the same sitemap. So, only the links pointing to the same domain as "Satrting URL" defined can be added in sitemap.

Ok, I have the sitemap running, however I have a problem with google picking it up.

The configuration shows the xml file placed in: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
Google wn't accept that location but wants it in: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

So I tried to change the location but to no avail.

Any Ideas?

Sitemap generator saves it in [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] by default and creates copy in [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]
So, you should submit [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] sitemap.

OK, here is what I am getting now when I open up the generator: (s_e_submission is the generator folder)

Config file is not writable: /vservers/yellowpa/htdocs/s_e_submission/config.inc.php
Sitemap file is not writable: /vservers/yellowpa/htdocs/sitemap.xml

I have checked my permissions and they both have write access through my control panel.

any ideas?

Thanks, Bill
