After a few hours my sitemal is complete. Only the sitemap_news.xml contains no links. How is only the header and nothing else.

How can I create this and how can I ensure that it is adjusted after creating a new message on the site and that a ping is sent to google

news sitemap includes only pages that were added in last 2 days on your website, and it will be populated with next sitemap updates.

So if I understand correctly. If I make a sitemap once a day, a sitemap_news.xml will only be created once a day.

Is a ping done to google and is it possible to generate only the sitemap_news.xml?

I want to create a sitemap_news.xml after every new message posted so that it will be better placed in google news.

1. yes, news sitemap is created with other sitemap files.
2. ping is done and news sitemap cannot be created separately.

Then it is a no go for me with this software. Sitemap creation takes over 8 hours if I put it in the crontab for about 100K pages. Want to create a new sitemap_news.xml at least every 6 hours. So that's not possible.
