Problem running stand alone php sitemap generator

Hi, I setup everything correctly, double checked everything. But when I tried creating a sitemap and started scanning the website, the window just showed a lot of odd code, my site started getting timed out, host error etc... and nothing was added to the .xml files at all.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Someone from XML-sitemaps mentioned a few times in these forums about, increasing memory_limit and max_execution_time, but what do I set it to?
