Incomplete XML File Generated

When I generate an XML Sitemap the generator flashes very quickly and generates a minimal file. If I compare this to the file I get when I use the Online generator, they aren' t even close. The Online version generates a full sitemap. Any ideas what's going on? I've checked the permissions and updated to the newest version. I'm using Firefox as my default browser.

Update:

the issue has been resolved: in this case the URLs were excluded by a robots.txt file.
