Working towards Google Custom Search Engine

Hi everyone,

I have been working on a problem and could use some community guidance.

I am trying to find a XML generator that will make a fully encompassing map of our site.

I got a program to generate the map.  In fact, I have used several programs.  Each time the  sitemap generated is producing URL's that dead end. And or, some generate a URL for the backend of the CMS.

So, my first question is why are these URL's being scrolled by the program?
Also, How do I avoid this from happening?

Finally, for the Custom Search Engine that google will host on your site, you need an XML map with annotations.  Is there any way to make this annotation file from a normal XML sitemap file?
