What next after installation?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this web site but had a question. I recently purchased sitemap and the install package. I received an e-mail that said it was installed.

My question is what do I do next? Is there something I should do monthly? How do i make it "crawl" my web site or is that done automatically?

Sorry for such a newbie question, much appreciate all the help I can get.

Hi,

You would have been sent a link to your generator when it was installed. When you want to create new sitemaps go to that, click the Crawling tab and then click run.

You can automate this with a cron job if your server allows for this.

Is there a sitemap I can put in my footer that is already made or do I have to create that myself?

there was an HTML sitemap link sent to you with script installation details. You can put that link in your site footer for your visitors and to improve site crawling by search engine bots.

I saw those. But none of them looked very appealing.... =( wasn't sure if i was missing one.
