today i started to generate a site map . i got this error :

please try to manually specify your server's IP address in sitemap generator options.

I have the same issue. I tried specifying the IP address and also updated the version to 2.9. Still I receive the same error.

PHP Works fine. I found that you had asked to try a different port number. How do I do that?

Please let me know what has to be done.

The port number could be changed only if your host has internal proxy running for all external connections (you can find that out with your hosting support).

As for the IP address, please try to create phpinfo script as described in post #2 here: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/forum/index.php/topic,2113.0.html and check your "SERVER_ADDR" variable to get IP (it might be different).
