saving my server resources

Hi,
I am doing a website locally and sending the files on a distant server, is it possible to generate all the sitempas locally and send thems with the files after the process is finished ?
My websites is nearly impossible to open when i use the sitemap generator on the distant server

yes, that is possible. You will have to install web-server software on your local PC for that (like Apache with PHP) and install sitemap generator on it.
