Flash index.html page used as link to entire site - only index.html crawled

In our site ([ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]) we use a Flash map as the starting point for the entire site. It appears as though none of the pages that are linked through the Flash map are indexed since the entire starting point of the site is the Flash map. Is this a bug or is this simply following the rule that anything that can not be found from a static link on the index.html page is not included in the sitemap?

you should duplicate the links embedded in flash with normal html <a> links so that sitemap generator and search engines can find your other pages.
