failure to write to sitemap.xml

Just made my initial installation.  I installed generator folder to subdomain and performed manual crawl.  After saving settings, I received the error stating that the sitemaps could not be written to.  I already checked and they have been written.  Also, the location to store the sitemap does not seem to save.

starting url: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

save sitemap to: ?? I have tried (home/user/public_html/psychology/sitemap.xml) but it does not save with the other settings!!
(current path to sitemap generator: home/user/public_html/psychology/generator/)

Hello,

make sure that you have set permissions correctly (for config.inc.php file, sitemap.xml and ror.xml files and data/ folder).
