Blank Page

I have done all the steps stated in the pdf file.
When i go to the generator page, I see a blank page.
I cant start anything. I have given the right permissions to the files and folders, and have activated to display warnings and errors.
Nothing happens.

Please try to remove generator folder and then reinstall it *without changing permissions*. If it is opening correctly in browser, start defining permissions then.

is it ok if config.php file still has [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] and so?
or do i have to change it before uploading?

I'm using xcache and some rewrite rules. Could that be the cause?

If you have rewrite rules defined for your domain, try to create .htaccess file in generator folder:

Update:
the problem was related to [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]_handler PHP setting. It was set to "user" on the server, I've changed it to "files". The issue is now resolved and sitemap has been successfully generated.

I've recently uploaded the files as well, but have to go through a vendor to change permissions on the files since we are using an ASP model for hosting our site. What do I need to know to get this working? Thanks.

You should just allow write access for:
/sitemap.xml file (create an empty file with that name first)
/ror.xml file
/generator/config.inc.php file
/generator/data/ folder

One of my hosting servers suddenly gives me that blank page too. I have contacted the hosting service but they have no way out of this.

Can admin tell me the way to change my script too?
