Problem with text sitemap

I have pages showing up on my text sitemap that were removed 6 months ago. I have looked in links, on my computer, FTP files and control panel and the files do not show up anywhere. I even googl;ed the filenames and they do not point to my web site.

How can I remove these files? I changed generator/data to 777 then deleted the files within, re-ran the generator and they show up again.

When Google crawls my site they list them as visible but they don't exist. What can I do to correct this error?

Hello,

possibly you have the URLs in html sitemap and sitemap generator re-discovers them? Try to add "sitemap.html" to "Do not parse" option and regenerate sitemap.
