Ouch! My server won't let me change permission code

What now?  Is there anyway out out this?  Network Solutions won't let me change permission on a file  to 666 from 664.  Have any options?

Hello,

in some server configuration 0664 might work as well (if file owner is the same as php process user id). Do you get a permission error when running sitemap generator?
