I only see the index of/generator

Hello,
I've followed the install directions and have /generator installed at /public_html.  I can go to [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] but all I get is an index page?  What's supposed to start?

I can get to: /generator/documentation.html but the tabs at the top, like "configuration" give me a 404 error.

Help please.
