We have just purchased the Unlimited Sitemap Generator.
Our site have thousands of news articles.
After purchase was made I found the followng article in Google:
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ].
Does the Sitemap Generator allow to build such a thing?

Hello,

according to news sitemaps protocol, it is required to include the publication date/time in sitemap as well, but it's not available for the  crawler.
