Site Generator not found

Hello
I am struggling to get the Site generator to open.  I have followed the instructions but everytime I go to open the site generator I get

Not Found
The requested URL /generator/documentation.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I read Jalap's comment on this and tried his solution but it didn't work for me.  Anyone got any other suggestions?

did you create a folder named "generator" in your domain root and uploaded files into it?

I'm having the same trouble. I uploaded this yesterday on another site and it works great. But this one... I think I did it all the same, have been over the documentation several times but no luck, still getting 404 page. I'll try again in the morning. Any ideas, I'm open to suggestions!

try to upload any other file (like manually creating test.html) just to check if ftp settings are correct and you can open that file in a browser.
