Use with Content Management System

I purchased XML Sitemaps stand alone version earlier today but then found that the only format our content management system supports is a populated sitemap.xml file. Files cannot be placed in the root directory due to the way that Content Management Systems work.

Is there any other way to use XML Sitemaps to generate a complete site map when we have over 500 pages?

you should install sitemap generator in a subfolder, not in the domain root.
