Sitemap Generator Forum

I've got a site map with a 'last updated' date on it, but the date is in March. Will google pick up on this and allow for it or will it think that my site was only updated a few months ago, not since and not bother updating it again?

Hello,

the information in the xml sitemap is only a hint for the google bot and it will still crawl all (or most) of your pages.
However, you can define a custom last modification date in corresponding option before starting the sitemap generator crawler.
