Configuration not being saved

Hi - I've installed and tried to update my configuration settings via the index.php page. Even though I press save, the screen comes back but all my changes are gone. Furthermore, if I try to crawl the site manually it just takes me back to index.php without any error messages. The permissions are configured according to the help file so I don't know what else could be wrong...

I have the same problem. Tried to chmod all the /generator/ directory to 777, but still the same problem.

generator/ folder *must* remain with 0755 permissions, you should set 0777 to generator/data/ folder.

I am also getting the exact same problem. Not of my changes are being saved in the configuration file and when I try to run a crawl it bounces me back to the index page
